DUSIT THANI KYOTO: Restaurant Outlets

Four Calinaries, Two Cultures, One Place

Services

  • Brand Identity

Dusit Thani Kyoto is a celebration of Thai and Japanese culinary traditions, uniting the freshest ingredients, sustainable processes, and expert craftsmanship. We were tasked with building a cohesive branding system that would allow each dining concept to dazzle while maintaining a strong connection to the overarching Dusit Thani Kyoto identity.

Ayatana:

Ayatana, a fine-dining Thai restaurant, showcases the culinary mastery of Chefs Bow and Dylan from Bo.Lan. We embraced the lotus flower as a central visual motif, emphasizing its significance as both an edible ingredient and a symbol of rich cultures of Thailand.

Kati:

Kati, a dessert atelier, draws inspiration from the pastel hues of traditional Thai sweets and the Japanese art of Kintsugi. By blending these influences, we crafted a visual identity that celebrates the union of Thai and Japanese culinary traditions.

KOYO:

KOYO, an interactive chef’s table experience, highlights the gestural movements of teppanyaki preparation. We incorporated Japanese language elements into the logo to evoke a sense of authenticity, while the overall branding reflects the restaurant’s traditional Japanese roots.

DEN Kyoto:

DEN Kyoto is a dynamic sound bar and vinyl lounge, offering bespoke cocktails and a sonic escape from the bustling city. The cave-like environment and a soundwave-inspired graphic texture adds depth and character throughout the brand’s touchpoints.
